Oh hello!

This past week was full of positive energy, where you look up from your desk, paint still drying, ideas still humming, and realise you’ve actually done the thing you said you would do.

I submitted two designs to the Kindly Woven Blanket Art Call

A small but meaningful milestone. Two designs, both rooted in the leaf-and-foliage explorations I’ve been deep in lately, are now officially out in the world.

🎧 Creativity That Pays Summit

I’ve also been attending the Creativity That Pays Summit: listening, learning, and letting the conversations nudge me toward more intentional, sustainable creative business practices.

There’s something energising about hearing other artists talk openly about the intersection of creativity and livelihood. It reminds me that we’re all figuring this out as we build our creative businesses.

On the Blog This Week: Protecting Your Artwork

Artists have quite a predicament. To be seen, we must share our work publicly, we have to share our opinion, our process, our growth. But with public sharing comes the challenge of protecting our intellectual property.

I wrote about the steps I take in my own daily practice to safeguard my textile designs while still showing up online with openness and generosity.
